Trip to Reno

We took a long weekend trip to Reno in April. It was really a lot of fun. The kids got to play tons of games and won lots of stuffed animals. We went to Virginia City for the day and it snowed while we walked around town for about and hour. It was very beautiful. On the way home, we drove through Tahoe and took the pictures you see here. This was Ava's & Liam's first time in the snow!!!

The Bunny Report

These are photos from Liam's first Easter. We had a nice celebration at home. Ava & Liam opened eggs from their Easter baskets. Ava's favorite surprise was obviously a little ballerina....Liam's favorite was gerber banana puffs. We had a delicious pancake breakfast cooked by Daddy. Auntie Tasha came to visit for a little while. We took a walk downtown and got some ice cream, stopped to play near the fountain and then went on to play at the park for a while.

I'm guessing nobody saw the first one....

I'm not really sure what happened, but I'm guessing that most people were unable to access the blog. I just changed the link a bit, so maybe now you'll all be able to get in....or at least that's what I'm hoping. Otherwise, really, what's the point of having this???

I'm really frustrated at the moment, as I don't want to fill this with stuff that people are unable to view.

These are the latest uploaded photos of Liam & Ava. Liam's are from March 2007, & Ava's from Valentine's Day.

Liam's got such a bright smile and its very cute at the moment as he is missing one of his front teeth....it is just cutting through today, so that missing tooth smile will soon be a thing of the past.

Ava is more blonde than ever and is into anything having to do with ballerinas or princesses....oh, and she has a collection of sparkly shoes that would give Imelda a run for her money. Such a girly girl!!!

New to the Blog Thing

I thought that since we are so far away from each other and you are all missing the daily happenings of Ava & Liam, I would create this blog to give periodic updates and share photos.

We have been battling one sickness after another since the beginning of the year, but looks like we may be turning the corner....FINALLY!

Ava started a new ballet class last week, which she LOVES. She also begins her first preschool class on Monday. We've enrolled her in a coop preschool to start out. Hopefully it will get her used to the idea of being at school on her own. It runs Mondays & Wednesdays for 2 hours. She stays on her own one day and I attend with her on the other. We are looking forward to it. It should be fun.

Liam is now cruising quite happily on his own. He goes from one piece of furntiure to another, but his favorite thing to hang on to is still ME!!! I'm sure it won't be long now, before he's walking on his own (and running).
